I went to Walmart to get oil for my pickup and notice that the have Mobil 1 V-Twin motorcycle oil, 20-50, but also they have Quicksilver V-Twin motorcycle oil, 20-50. I have always used Quicksilver products in my boats but was the first I have seen for motorcycles, both brands were full synthetic and $7.94 per quart.
Has anyone used Quicksilver?
I used quicksilver in my boat, its not a bad oil only used it in the outdrive tho......I use Mobil 1 in my bike, thats a good price per qt. I will have to check it out.
If they're the same price I would go with the mobil 1. If quicksilver is for an air cooled v-twin Im sure it would also be fine. Great price, mobil1 is 9.99 here

We pay the equivalent of $22 US Dollars per litre over here.

I bought 1 gal of Rotella T6 Full Syn 5w40 last week at Wally for use in the motor only, 2011 Heritage TC. I had second thoughts about the 5w40 wt. I returned it to pick up the Mobile 1 vTwin 20w50 at $10 per qt at Wally. I came across the Quicksilver 20w50 full syn 4 stroke air cooled oil for $24.50. I bought the gal jug and plan on running it this summer. The specs on the bottle are correct and at just over $6/qt should be a value, it is wet clutch approved. This oil is in a separate marine oil section, not by the MC or automotive oil section. Quicksilver is the product line of parts and accessories from Mercury Marine Corp. They are much like the HD of the boat power industry.(the black motors)

The Rotella will work fine, and it will work great in the primary too.
