I am new to bikes, I have never owned one but I knew what I wanted. So I got a 93 Heritage. I don't care for the original Air cleaner looks, I figured I would ask the seasoned riders their opinion of what air cleaner would work on my bike? As far as I know it is the stock carburetor and am planning on cleaning it when I get a manual, which leads me to my next question. I am a fan of the Haynes manuals, I like the way their layout is set up or should I stick with the Harley service manual? Thank you in advance and bearing with a newbie, I will probably have a lot more questions to follow.

Spend the coin on the HD manual.

Harley's are made to be an extension of it's owner, whatever you decide on, keep that stock air filter cover. 100's to chose from but NO HYPERCHARGER is my opinion.

in my travels with repair manuals the factory has things you want to have as well as the hayes - i undestand about the layout, but they cover to many years and different models

so some of what you need is lost in the wash - buy that one used e blows / amazon seem to always have them

welcome - johnjzjz

Nice first bike! Pics please, it's in the rule book.
There are many options for ac setups, but I agree with bagger, hold on to that stocker. I also agree that the factory manual is the one to have if you only have one.
Welcome, and enjoy that EVO!

Welcome to the forum, the freedom, and the obsession! Be safe, think safe, and practice, never stop learning.

The HD manual is the best manual I ever had, no need for any other. If you can't figure it out just post your question here. Oh, and I second the vote for a picture.

Congrats!
