Default exhaust recommendation

I recently did the Andrews Ev27 cam, pushrods and lifters on my EVO. I have some ground pounders exhaust (no baffles) on it for now but looking for something a little more performance based. I don't think these have enough back pressure... was thinking Bassani road rage 2-1. Not really looking to go thunder header right now. Any suggestions? also, any good vendors where I can order from? The motor is from a 98' softail. This is my first EVO and this is what i have now...thanks.

I want those ground pounders just to try em on for size! Nice ride. Exhausts are so personal Fame...if I didn't like an exhaust I'd sell it and get one I did like. Everyone here is going to tell you they like their pipes. Most will say a 2-1 is going to be better than 2-2. you'll figure out what's best for you. I think Traildog just put a road rage on his heritage and he likes it...whatever 2-1 he put on he likes..pretty sure its a road rage.

Back to your original question about an exhaust, a 2-into-1 with a proper muffler will give the best torque curve. Any set-up that uses separate pipes is a serious compromise, whatever they may be called, and as for slash-cut ends.......

the black bike is Kerker < loud easy to install has shields stays shinie

the other blue bike is a thunder header / modded with a super trap muffler and then rapped < tunable different sound quality has the road race end tip its open as opposed to the flat end plate always use a double set of discs < that bikes has a 100 HP motor and needs that type exhaust

Thumbs up

My Glide below has a Supertrapp Supermeg and delivers 101HP/107TQ and is reasonably civil. Could probably deliver a bit more with a more aggressive system, but I like to be reasonably quiet.
