Default Starter whirl
I have another intermittent issue. Hit the starter this morning and I get a whirling sound like it is not engaging. Hit it again the same thing, third time it engaged and the bike started. It started every time and no repeat issues the rest of the day. Ideas?

Could be that your Bendix gear is starting to go south.
