Indian would have come back a lot earlier and filled the void and this would be an Indian site with chiefs and scouts

not tying to be political but my guess the way things are going with names of Indain ball teams the bike company might be in the hit list and forced to changed its name - great free country < oh yea thats gone to -- my take - jz

Just me since I'm a recovering Harley junkie...

I totally agree... I want to see a direct injected, turbo 4 with OBDII like the automotive world.. There is nothing keeping them from doing it. And, for the money they charge for the antiquated technology they are producing today, its a slap in the customers face not to.. My position is simple. Produce the standard big twin that we all love, and ditch the V_rod in favor of something that someone would actually buy(like described above).. They already have ventured into the "Nighthawk" and "Prius" camps, might as well do something good.....

As for what I'd ride.. My dislike for the twinkie is more about the rider than the bike.. Though it does have its shortcoming like everything else.. I tend to agree, w/o the Evo, there would be no Twinkie, let alone HD.. It would be an entirely different market. I still have a patriotic streak and would probably lean to a Shovel, though I've always longed for a Pan, Nuck and Flathead... If I had to go elsewhere, I've always been intrigued by the V-Max and KZ1000.. I suppose BMW would have to be my goto for touring.. I'd just hate to have to dress and act like a douchbag every time I decided to ride it though.....

If they'd gone from shovel to twinkie, probably one with an S&S shovel in it - instead of the S&S EVO I have now. And it'd have a carb, for sure.
