jiffy stand/kick stand
I can't keep the kick stand up on my 85 FLTC. I replaced the spring and that didn't help, I'm getting to the point where I'm going to give it Viagra to keep it up. Any ideas on how to repair it or do I need to replace it. Thanks

I had the same issue with my 94 and someone told me to try the spring from a softail. That seemed to do the trick for me. Mine is slammed down in the weeds and the spring is the lowest part on the frame so it catches first and tends to get stretched out every time it hangs up.

Thanks all,
I replaced the spring with and the rubber stop is there it just will not stay up. I believe I'll just order all new and then I know it's all right. Tired of going around corners and it scraping.
