Why not???
I have a set of touring mags on my Heritage.
The rear is a direct bolt in.
The front required some adjustment to the speedo drive unit and the spacer on the other side.
I don't know. I just know the hubs are different part numbers. The front hub on a touring bike is set up for dual brakes and has two flanges. I'd lose my "hubcap".

Yeah I did lose my hubcap but the ability to put a plug into it and go on home is way better in my opinion.
I just changed my rear wheel from solid to spoke , darn parts book showed different part numbers for the spacers for both wheels I about went stupied chancing spacers come to find out there the same for both type wheels
I've seen some "Ultima" brand 40 spoke wheels on eBay, at a very attractive price-less than the price of a rim from the MoCo. At that price I must assume they're made in China. I know the Ultima motors seem to have a following around here. Anybody have any experience with their wheels?
On the one hand, the price is certainly attractive. On the other hand, it's my life on the line if the wheels are substandard.

The new ones are made there but the original ones for our bikes weren't.
They didn't start putting Chinese parts on Harleys till sometime in the TC years.

The cast V-Rod wheels were made in Australia when that model was introduced, transfer of wheel production to China being a couple of years ago.
