You just said it much more accurately than I did (as usual ).
Our bikes haven't been made for at least 15 years.

I suspect OUR wheels are pre-Oz! Maybe even American?! I have a 2010 and 2002 which are Oz wheels, but that is declared in the well of the rim and I don't have an older wheel without a tyre to check.

Back when I bought my bike the rims were made in Italy, but they were laced and trued in York, PA. Ahh, the good old days.
