The rubber isolator definately needs replacing. Wasnt sure if its part of the stator or can be replaced separately? If it can be replaced then i will do that so not to cause more damage.

Unfortunately, the rubber plug is molded onto the stator assembly, and as far as I can determine, is not sold separately.
