so i've installed wiseco pistons in my HD cylinders and I'm ready to drop jugs down on case with cometics, but i stopped.... i really don't want to tear this engine down again...and i'm looking at oil passage holes, and I don't see any real difference between S&S and Harley...S&S passages are a bit larger, but that's it
should i install the pigtails at the bottom of these HD cylinders, or leave them alone and hope for the best, trusting that S&S has pulled through in designing this case so that i don't get any base leaks?
dissimilar techniques in the way the 2 companys approach the same thing in machining and sizes have always been an issue, we have learned to buy into all or none of it
having said that i have not had a leak issue with S&S and OEM harley mix and match
