I'll be honest. It isn't easy for me to expose my noobness with this stuff on a forum. I understand cars, have a good working knowledge and many friends to discuss issues with if I am stumped and the boards or manuals don't cover it.
With bikes I feel all alone. Like an FNG 5 days in -country and not at all at ease.
This forum is awesome, I rarely have ever felt flamed for even the silliest question. You have no idea how cool that is and rare on online forums.

I know how you feel.
Every time I start working on something on my bike that I haven't worked on before I am very nervous.
After I get done I think "Damn that was easy!!!!".
