Default Rinehart Slimlines

I have a 2013 Street Glide with over 13,000 miles on it. Had the dealership put on the Rinhart 4" slip on mufflers when I bought it, I love them. But felt something was missing. I wanted that "true dual" sound. So did my research and found that Rinehart now makes a header that fits your slip on's. So now you don't have to purchase a new complete "true dual", which is about $1,100, F that already paid $700 for the mufflers set up I have on the bike. So I ordered the Slimline Headers from J&P cycles, received in 2 days, installed today, which took 4 hours. The video is bullshit! The biggest problem I had was putting the mufflers back on, if you have slip on's, and get the Slimline headers, they don't just "slip on". Had to use a rubber mallet and socket that " opened" the hole on the muffler, one that large enough to extend the opening on the mufflers. For those that dont understand. A Big *** Socket that you pound into the end of the mufflers to in larger it. Be careful, you don't want to lose the socket in the pipe. But these method opened up the muffler so it could fit on the new Slimlines. Maybe I am the only one this has happened to, but did this with some help. Didn't go to Harley and pay $100 an hour, they would've done the same thing. Also be careful of the top right flange nut on the back header, it's a Bitch to get in. Other that, well spent money. Next step this week, new breather and the dyno.
