I just picked up an 82 FXRS with the topend in boxes & the rods stuck on the crank.
I've heard good things about Truett & Osborn flywheels & live close by their shop so this will be my first stop once I get the cases pulled out. I'm going tohave them rebuild the bottom end with one of their flywheels & check the tolerances on the top end.
I'm looking for any advice or suggestions on other things to consider to make this a decent performer without bankrupting myself.
It has a S&S carb already but I don't knowwhich model.
