Just wondering if anyone has installed 4" pistons in a tc88 without stroking the motor or milling cases. I'm running a 95" kit now, but I want pistons the size of whiskey barrells. I can get 4.06" standard bore pistons, but was wondering about the cases. I don't want to decrease the life of the motor by stroking it. Can the stock jugs be bored big enough without concern? I might be getting a little thin.

Can't be done with out boreing cases. and new jugs. 4" bore and 4" stroke gets you to 100" andwww.axtellsales.comsells a kit for it but could not see why? When you could bore the cases to 4.125 and keep the same crank and have 107" www.revperf.com has a good kit that you might want to look at.The biggest you can go with out boreing the cases is 98" and you will still need new jugs.

I heard that you cant bore stock jugs out to 4"-3.78" is the max......
And if you get a kit with the right jugs that would be sweet because they say a square motor is huge on torque.
