I have an 07 fatboy. I bought a set pf SE slip-on mufflers on ebay. Do I need to reflash the EFI?
I have no other mods at this time.
Thanks for any help
You are fine if you only do slip ons not air cleaner, also there is no re-flash with 07 models with the exception of the 903 download which was done as a recall item if you do anything else you will need a s.e.r.t. or aftermarket fuel management device...

The dealers do have a flash for the SE AC kit for '07 models. I had my ECM flashed by the dealer when I had the kit put on my RKC.
Yes the dealers do have a remap for the 07's. I had my new Heritage done before it left the dealership along with the SE mufflers and Air Cleaner kit. They told me when I purchased the bike, I only needed to remap if I changed the Air Cleaner kit. Not necessary if only the mufflers were installed.
I have since changed the pipes again, now it sounds like a real Harley.
Lots of differing opinions on this subject, even at the dealer level. The 07's run hot to begin with sowhy not add a tuner like the TFI. DFO, PC III or others and forget the dealer and his flash. Do you need the additional rev limit? The flashis on the lean side in any event and will still leave you wanting more fuel to cool things off.
The 07 bikes with the 02 sensors will adapt to the lean condition the pipe change will cause BUT.....only in the cruise area....if you get on the throttle the 02 sensors are not on line and the map will be lean. If you get a download from the dealer it will add 5% fuel across the board...this might andmost likley won't be enough. If you have any thing else other than Harley pipes installed the download is a waste of your money.
