switchback exhaust
2012 switchback aftermarket exhaust. ..the stock exhaust is too quiet, a lot of the pipes I'm interested in say not for switchback fld. It's a dyna chassis, so my question is why won't dyna exhaust fit the switchback?

I am no expert (though I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express) but I am thinking that going from the 2-1 stock exhaust to a regular twin muffler Dyna set up causes clearance and mounting issues because of the hard bags. Just an opinion, maybe somebody else has tried it and will chime in,

Yep, floorboards are the problem.
A lot of people are adding Dyna exhaust to the Switchback, you just need to a 1/2inch spacer on the floorboard, then 'most" Dyna exhaust systems will fit.
Definatley check with supplier before you purchase.
