I have a 2010 ultra 96" stock exhaust. I love rineharts...but I see them everywhere. I dont see fishtails very often in my area.
So my question is who makes the best fishtail slip-ons, or possibly the best headpipe/fishtail combo? I want a loud exhaust without sacrificing performance. Thanks for all your help.

I've had Samson's, Freedom Performance and now V&H Fishtails.
I moved to the Freedoms based on reviews I'd read of the sound and performance and because my Samsons blued. Not the fault of Samson, my bike was poorly tuned. Now I have moved to V&H as I am trying to lower the decibles a bit with longer trips coming up on my 2013 RKC.
Of the three I'd have to say the best combo of loud but cool sound mixed with performance was Freedom. Your head pipes will also play a part in this but Freedoms were by far the loudest and most performant. They were mated with Samson true duals. A 2-1 head pipe will create some more performance as well.
I wish Rinehart made a fishtail tip for their 3.5" mufflers as that would be a done deal.
The old Kerker 98B muffler with the k2 baffle with a set of their fish tail tips was a sweet sounding setup. Still available today, but under the Supertrapp brand.
