Best sounding is a matter of opinion and is subjective. There's just as many that think the fatcat sounds like sh!+. Like a loud sewing machine on steroids. The pro pipe too for that matter. Sounds hollow if you ask me.
The Thunderheader is the best sounding 2in1 but not the best sounding exhaust. That would be duals with a good set of performance mufflers and is not defined by loudest. The loudest can sound the shittiest. The best sound is defined by tone, not volume and all 2in1s lack the deep rumble associated with a great sounding Harley V-twin. All that I've ever heard anyway and I like loud, but a loud, deep, rumble that you can feel. The Rush Big Louies have that sound and perform great too. Loud for the sake of being loud just sounds obnoxious and usually hollow and tinny.
Also, with a good set of performance HP cams and overlap that gives that lopey idle everyone likes and the fatcat has performance issues below 3000rpm and the pro pipe has been reported to have an annoying drone at highway speeds.

I agree the best sounding is a matter of opinion. I have the D&D Fatcat and feel it is the best sounding and second to nun in performance. I ride with many friends and friends of friends and cant think of one that think it sounds like ****. Maybe it's my Andrews cam set but saying it sounds like a loud sewing machine on steroids...well...it dont sound anything like that. When the big dog barks, you know it.
