the k is definetly worth it
lifetime cleanable and the flow I would say is a touch better but don't quote and it may not be much until the old one starts to break down and needs to go in the trash
get a recharge kit too

If you are talking about the S&S high flow,that's the one inch wider filter with one inch standoff bolts. The only k&n typ washable filter I found for mine is made by Green Performance Filters. J&Pis where i got mine. Definitly flows better than stock high flow paper filter, and I think slightly better than standard size K&N filter.
