Default Extend Slip ons 2-3” ?

So I purchased some Magnaflow 4.5” slip ons for my 2018 FLHXS. When I removed the stock exhaust, I noticed they were slightly shorter than the stock. I installed them and love the deep throaty sound, it really woke up the M8 in my opinion. My only issue is that they don’t extend back past the saddlebags (see picture). I put them on as far back as I could on the mounting bracket, and I cannot get another inch without it coming off I’m am sure.

That said, is there any piece I can install between the pipe and the slip on to gain an extra 2-3 inches? I saw people had similar issues with the Cobra NH’s. But I could not find a solution to my dilemma.

I love the pipes, just want them to be a little longer and I cannot extend the tip out that I am aware of. So I ask you all what you think is the best option short of having something made to suit my needs. See photos below.

They look pretty good to me. Doesn’t look like they have removable tips. That’s where I would have gone with longer tips if possible.

I suppose the angle in the picture is somewhat misleading. The top of the bell is about 1 to 1.5 inches under the bag and the lower part (because of the angle of the bags) is further under than that.

I am open to suggestions from anyone. Thank you

An exhaust shop could create a stepped coupling ( double the clamps and chance of a leak)
Then you`d have to create a bar to reach from the under bag mount to the muffler bracket ( might wobble a bit )
No offense, but I suggest you leave it alone

Have a muffler shop swage a 4-5" piece of pipe to slide over the end of your current head pipes, then slide the mufflers over the other end, then as mentioned make a longer muffler mount bracket to extend back toward the bike to slide into the rubber isolator in the muffler hanger. Have the pipes that are made ceramic coated black and you are good to go. You could even make heat shields out of old straight sections if needed/desired...
