Hey fellas. I’m new with 2-1 exhausts and I’m looking at different ones for my 2013 Dyna street bob.
Has anybody ever ran this 2-1 before or heard anything about it? I’m running V&H short shots and it’s time for something different
The turn out end is 3" in diameter
Header pipes are 1-3/4" with 16 gauge steel construction
Features an 11" outlet
Does not have baffles
My plan is to run torque cones unless there’s something better to run as far as putting some sort of baffle in it. But long story short I like the look and I hope the performance will be as good as the high dollar exhaust but I can’t see myself spending damn near 1000 bucks on exhaust unless it will make a big difference.
Performance will suck...it will be obnoxiously loud...all your neighbors will come to hate you...none of your buddies will want to ride with you anymore...but it looks killer.
Harley's are a low rpm engine, and as such, need long primaries and collector to make that low end torque. That short header is for an engine that lives at 5000 - 10,000 rpm, not at 2000 - 6200 that Harley's like to run at.
