Thats right...that is the question!!

I went to a local bike shop and was asking for prices on the Screamin Eagle pipes, i was informed, first, that the Pro 16 gauge double barrel model is the only one that will fit on the 2005; and I assume 06; Softail Deluxe...for $750 Cdn, and that they are made by Vance and Hines...that they are in fact the same as the V&H Big shots. So, if that is the case and almost all SE stuff is V&H well i want the V&H Big Shots Long with the Power Chamber. A buddy has them, they look and sound great but i have no idea what they do for Horses and tourqe? Still, i would like more opinions please?

 

Yes this is true, they also make the Python pipes as well, the Python 3's are the same as the big shot staggered, the only difference is they don't have the adjustable tip's.
I had a set on my Heritage and loved them, they will save you $100, go with the pythons, call Eastern Proformance.

 

yes its true. i have 16 gage on my 05 deuce. i wanted louder so i ordered baffles from v&H FOR BIG SHOT STAGGERED.fit in perfectly,sound identical to vances big shots and only cost 32 bucs with shipping.

 

nutsy…So the 16 gage HD and the V&H Big shots are the same except for the baffles?

 

KECHOUR, yah almost.the eagles are a couple inches longer and the heat shield is not perfectly flush entire length of pipe like v&h. also eagles have a larger [power chamber. with v&h baffles you cant tell sound difference .

 

So the Pro 16 gauge double barrel eagles are not as load as the V&H unless you change the baffles?

 

Tn.Heritage... Question on your Python 3's, you say they don't have the adjustable tip's, but are the tips billet? Like those billet removable end caps on the V&H but fixed?

eagles are quite a bit quieter.but they still sound nice. sometimes i think about putting them back in.i drilled 3 half inch holes in each baffle in both end caps of each baffle.which really gave em a nice sound.if i didnt already have v&h baffles ordered i would of been happy with em.
