This is my fourth bike, but I am a first time HD owner. In fact, my bike hasn't even been delivered to the dealer yet. What I do want is something great, and I'm really pumped up right now.
Before I decide on what pipes to install on my 95" EFI, I was wondering if going with V&H's Big Shot Staggared, and it's "powerchamber" was worth it over the non connected pipes, such as the Big Radius. I LUV the BR, but I don't know if I want to give back any HP that I am adding on..
Does anybody have some dyno numbers, or maybe some personal experience with both pipes?
So the question is Powerchamber vs. non Powerchamber performance.
i have the screaming eagle 16 gauge double barrel pipes which are made by v&h for harley.they are almost identical to big shots but eagles have a bigger power chamber.the s.e.s. were a little too quiet .i found out that baffles from big shots would fit in my pipes so i bought them and they sound exactly like bigshots.sound great.as far as power bike runs real strong.my friend has an 04 softail standard with big radius. as far as power i read you will lose some with the big radius.but friends bike seems to run ok.but his are much louder.
power chamber does not really make any difference I have dynoe the regular pipe and the power chamber model with no gains at any rpm. but difference set ups will yeild different results
