Can anybody tell me if the Freedom Performance Tuck and Under head pipe for 2020 softails is considered a tapered end? It seems like it has an ever so slight taper but not sure if the stock conical gasket is going to seal well? Seems like the bolted up flange end at the head sits back quite a ways further than stock? Was tough getting the flange nuts started. I torqued them to 120 inch pounds which is what my service manual calls for on the high end but the flange still sits further back than stock.
Also, got any idea short of beating the thing to death on how to get the end cap and baffles out so I can put in the quiet baffle they sent me? It doesnt seem as though the end caps should be that tight on a never run exhaust? Thanks for any pointers.

For anyone else with a similar issue, lots of PB Blaster and a slide hammer with a hook made quick work of removing the baffles and end caps. Im still not liking the way the head pipe sits much farther back out of the exhaust port than the stock head pipe resulting in the nuts not grabbing as much thread as Id like on the studs. However, Im torqued at the max 120 inch pounds and the pipes seem to seal well with the stock cone style gaskets so we shall see with time. The Freedom head pipe isnt cone shaped on the end but it isnt necessarily flat either. Very slight taper at the end so Im not sure what it would be considered?
