Yep, those are the ones I put on my bike (but I bought mine from Revzilla/saved about $70 because I had a refund in their system and I am registered as a veteran with them).

I think you’ll find that Khrome Werks has limited options right now for Sporties as I could not find anything for them on their own website.

yes, that's true. I looked at their website and it is very sparse.

As for tune, the guy may have not turned when he put pipes on. Some don't. You are restring it a little, so if it was it could be a little rich
But if runs good I would leave it alone.

Quite pipes are nice when riding in mountains in Kentucky w gear. I did spend money on pipes on last bike. Don't get me wrong I like sound of them

You could ask Vance and Hines about different baffle or recomandation

yep, I wear ear plugs if I am riding for longer periods especially to cut the wind down. Also, I appreciate everyone's responses. For now, I am running the stock mufflers. To be honest, they sound great. They're 11 years old now and pretty broke in so they have a nice sound (bike had 27k miles when I bought it). Also, the bike runs better with the stock mufflers. It's got more zip than with the slipons. I did NOT tune the bike after I put the slipons so there's that. Overall, it ran fine; no engine lights came on. It did have a fair amount of decel pop, which I understand can be largely fixed with a tune. However, she was a little lethargic from a stop. In any event, I am pretty satisfied with the stock pipes for now. The V&H slash cuts are in my closet. Perhaps, I will try them again at another point (and do a tune). The bike is running so good at the moment with the stock mufflers that I am just happy riding. And the stock mufflers continue to wear, giving off a low comfortable rumble. I like it.

On a side note, I scored a replacement gas tank on ebay. It had the same exact logo, color and was fairly priced. To my shock when it arrived, it was in mint condition! I love this bike even more now. She's beautiful.

So, here's a kind of crazy update....part of the reason I couldn't tolerate the slipons was because of hyperacusis - hyper sensitive to normal sounds...a plate or fork falls on the floor, it hurt my ears. In any event, this thing that I had for nearly 11 years went away spontaneously like a week ago! It is the craziest thing that ever happened to me. I noticed loud trucks, horns, banging in the restaurant was no longer bothering me. Sooo, to fully test this situation, I reinstalled the slipons. Yes, they're loud, but I don't jump out of my skin anymore and they sound glorious to my ears when accelerating! I know those reading this are like this guy is crazy. It doesn't matter though because I am able to now enjoy my bike as I dreamed of it. I still wear earplugs on longer rides, but I don't obsess about getting them inserted perfectly and the bike just sounds amazing and it doesn't wear on me. I still have tinnitus, but I have had that so long, I don't think about it too much. Attached are some pics with the slipsons. I also got a perfect condition (same logo as original) gas tank off ebay and installed. As well as drag bars....love this bike!

Happy riding all!

V&H makes "quiet" baffles for their pipes/slip-ons. Bought a 2015 with those slip ons and way too loud to comfortably cruise anywhere, even with helmet. Put quiet baffles in and made it much more reasonable/enjoyable and got noticeable increase in low end torque with less shifting. Also got noticeable decrease in top end, but am not riding around much at top rpm's. The exhaust tone changed away from "clangy" to deeper resonance. Considered it well worth the effort .

I will keep the quiet baffles in mind! I agree the Slash Cut slips are very loud. Part of it has to do with the Iron's low gearing. 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd are loud because the engine winds out fast. After I got to 3rd, the noise settled down and was nice rumble. With that said, they're loud. And the way the pipes are staggered the front muffler dumps right under my ear. In the end, I went back to the stock because it's just simply more comfortable cruising around. I bought a used heat shield on ebay to replace my scuffed one and the bike looks great with the stock mufflers. If I get the itch again, maybe I order the quiet baffles and drop them in the slips and give it another try!

I put Khrome Werks bullet slip ons on my FXDB because the straight shots did nothing for reversion. The Khrome Werks have “ dog ball “ perforated baffles. That and their quiet kit ( knocks off a little noise). Bike sounds good, runs good. Most of the “ flavor of the day” slip ons will make you lose some bottom end. Khrome Werks has been around a long time and knows how to bring up the volume without reversion, at least to some degree. Plus the chrome finish is first rate, mufflers look stock ( I like that) and much better sound than stock without setting off car alarms. Great slip ons IMO.

So at the end of the day, I decided to drill holes in the baffle plates in the stock mufflers - about 3/4 inch in each baffle plate. I am very happy with the sound. Good rumble, but not ear splitting and doesn't have that "snap" sound I would get from the V&H 3 inch slash cut slips. I also upgraded the front fork springs and oil after doing a long ride through Alligator Alley to Naples, FL. This change made a huge difference in riding comfort. Stock fork springs were brutal for a long ride. You can take a listen here to an evening run I recorded.
