Just bought a new exhaust system (V&H big radius) and PC III USB for my 07 fat boy. What kind of intake would work best for decent fuel economy and performance. Or can I still use the stock filter with the new pipe and power commander and just create a custom map for it.
The exhaust system will allow a better exhaust flow so naturally to do them and the engine justice, you should go to a more open intake system too. K&N filters seem to do the best and last well, and they are also the filter that is available with the Screaming Eagle intake package intended for your bike from HD dealers. PClll is fine for most any combination, but you may not find a map available for the exhaust and stock breather. But you could make up one....

I just want a solution that will give me the right air flow but not blow oil all over the place. I don't know much about fuel injection but when I modified my 03 sporty with just the plainscreamin eagle setup, i had oil leaking out of the filter. Needed to get a breather or resevoirs to stop that I guess.
Well I ended up getting the pro-force intake system. I really wanted something that looked better than the normal air cleaner with that harley cover on it. It looks just like the SE heavey breather setup
