Need help on a muffler
I was rambling around my shop and ran across a pair of mufflers, and I need help determining what they fit. They are fishtails with stock no. HD 65689-89. they have flanges on the bottoms with different lengths and different spaces between bolt holes on each muffler. They look virtually new. I checked several web sites and found the stk. nos (Dale's & Surdyke) , but they just list the no. and price of $137. per muffler, and say "front muffler" as description, no fitment. Dealers in the area show the nos. as obsolete, and no fitment. The "89" indicates they came out in '89. Can anybody shed some light, as I'd
like to sell them (cheap), but need to know what to say they fit. Thanks, gang.
