I have a 2007 Road King classic and want to install Rush slip ons for sound purposes only. should I get the HD download or do I need to put on a high flow filter intake? I'm not really looking to increase performance.

You don't need a download, or intake for Rush slip-ons. My H-D stealer installed mine prior to picking up my 2008 FLHX. I have the 2" baffles. Initially I had some popping, but after talking with my mecahnic he informed me that the clamps REALLY needed to be torqued. The pipes sound great!!!

Change to a new set of plugs and after running the bike for a short time after installation of the slip ons pull the new plugs and check them. That will show you what you need to do. I personally installed a fuel management system due to I was running extremely lean after installing a set of slip ons. If the plugs are really white all the way to the base you are lean. These newer Harleys leave the factory running really lean as is. Do not ignore lean running conditions because you can destroy a motor really quickly.
