Torca Exhaust Clamps - Ever Replace?

I've been experimenting with different slip-ons for my Street Glide. I've finally settled on the mufflers I want, but with all of the experimenting I've had the Torca clamps on and off about 4 times. The Harley shop manual says to replace the Torca clamps everytime you take off the mufflers. At $15 each I'm hesitant to do so. Anyone out there ever have a Torca clamp fail from overusage? I'm always retorquing them to factory specs with a torque wrench.

I have only reused the same one 2-3 times myself,so I dont know how many times one could be reused.If one did fail/break/back-off,etc. how bad could it be?Not in a REAL critical application does it seem to me.I have not heard of one failing yet.That being said,I would also like to hear from other people who know alot more than me,Bob

Doug-I've changed out my mufflers and the entire exhaust system on my FLHT more than I care to admit and had 1 clamp I couldn't make work right.....and it was obvious in that it wouldn't tighten past a certain point no matter what I did. When removong and replacing these clamps I just give them a little shot of WD-40, inspect them and just use them again. No problem. At $15 a pop I'm sure HD recommends only using for one application
