Breaking in?
Heres the skinny!!
My tech just buttoned up my 95" HQ build today. I told
him to hold off starting the bike till Saturday morning so
I could be there. What kind of oil should I put in the bike
for the break-in period?
Synthetic, conventional or it doesn't matter which type.

Regular dino oil to start, wait for a 1000 mile service before Synth.

your shoulders are going to be so F**cked now!
I did the heat cycle and then rode it 50 miles, changed filter and oil. then ran her for 900 miles or so and switched to Royal Purple 20 50.
Make sureyou do as Doug says: "tune it, then ride it like you stole it!"
When I was on the SO cal meet and greet a coulple of guys commented on how my bike idled and the way the bike barked when I snapped the thottle open!

I use dino HD360 for the first 100 miles then synthetic and change at 500 and 1000. I use a GRPIII synthetic like HD Syn3. Then I go to Mobil1 Vtwin 20w50 at 1000. But you could use Mobil1 15w50 from Walmart and save a few bucks.
