fuel in my engine
i did my oil change yesterday and just when i was done the phone rang,i started talking on the phone for a while then ihad a snack,when i went back to the garagethere was a pool of fuel aroundmy bike,it was coming out from the exhaust,i started investigating,that's when i realized i had not closed the petcock and on top of that the choke was pulled all the way,itook out the spark plugs and one of the cylinder was completely filled with fuel,in the othercylinder the fuel came out from the exhaust,i used an antifreeze tester pump to empty all i couldi then blewsome compressed air in the cylinders,i cleaned the mess sorounding my bikeleft the spark plugs out,i opened a window to ventilate the garage and i called it a night,so here i am the day after the disaster and here's my plan,i have one of those cors contaminated oil removal fitting,i took out my oil filter and it looks dry so i don't think oil went down there since i didn't start the bike afterwards,so i reinstalled the cors fitting on the bike and my plan is to crank the engine with no spark plugs, little by little to remove a pint or two by the cors fitting,since my oil tank is filled with fresh oil it will push out the fuel filled oil out the crankcase,what you guys think ? i'm a newbee it's my first harley and this was my first oil change.thanks
