Today I consulted with the head of the parts dept at my HD dealership in Dothan Alabama. These are truly a bunch of very informed and intelligent people from the manager all the way around the store.
I was concerned about the extreme heat on my right inner thigh when stopped at lights, etc, in the summer.
I was originally interested in an oil cooler although I do realize that it does have limited effectiveness when stopped.
Tim, the parts manager says that the rep. from Rush mufflers was by the other day and showed him their new "true dual" pipes and get this, they are ceramic lined. He believes that they are about 50% less hot that the usual ones.
I ordered a set.

They have a picture on their updated website part #7015. Not a good picture though. No info as far as price.
