idling problem

I have a 1997 Ultra Glide. After it is warmed up, when I stop at a stoplight, sometimes instead of the normal idle speed, the RPM's go way up. I brought it in to the local dealer, but they could not make it happen for them. It has happened many times for me. Any suggestions?

Need more info carb/efi? If fuel injected possible for the IAC (idle air control) pintle, which is the needle that adjusts the air flow and bypass at the intake to be hanging every once in a while causing idle to go very high or could just be a hanging throttle (cable or butterfly).
