Default engine mods

My goal is not to have the fastest bike around but not the slowest either. .So here it is. Bought a 06 street glide new, havent done anything to it as off yet This is what im thinking. I've ordered a power commander 3, vance and hines big shots, K&N high flow filter. Now that part is a done deal just have to install. The second part of the project im unsure about. I was going to get the screamin eagle 95 or 103 kit, but then i came across a stock 96 parts of an 07 road king with less than 100 miles on em . Parts included are heads, pistons, cams, pushrods, cluch spring, cylinders. Can anyone tell me with " certainty" If i can use these parts or am i wasting my time. The 96 is right where I want to be power wise and the price is right on these parts. So far ive heard that only the cams and flywheel needs to be changed out. Thanks for you input

Default RE: engine mods

first off the diffrence between a 96ci motor and 88ci motor is the fly wheels.
the cylinders and heads are the same.
you purchased a set of cylinders and heads from a 96ci motor. send those parts out to get worked on.
Me i would contact JD's cycle610-297-0321 or Hillside cycles 315-495-6650.
Talk to them
tell them what you want and let them set it upfor ya. you are also going to need a map for the modifications also.
