I was wondering if anybody has ever heard of this. I have a slightly used 05 Fat Boy, approximately 800 miles.After this winter when I first start it up I hearwhat sounds like an engine tick. When I first start it the tick sounds intermitttently about once every few seconds. After engine warms for about 10 minutes it goes away. Any ideas.

Probaly just the lifters bleeding down.You might go ahead and change the oil with a good syn.if its been sitting awhile.
