They've been 45 and 190 since 2000.

I purchased a new 05 and the jet size was 48 but the manual said it should be 45. Does anybody know if HD changed the jet size after the manual was written?

the dealer may have fiddled with it. When I bought my '05 FLHR, the dealer put in a 48 and adjusted the mixture screw.

Why did he change to a 48. I changed my 48 to a 46 only because the manual said 45 and split the difference. Do you think I will have a problem with the 46?

You probably wont have a problem, just keep an eye on it(your plugs and whatnot). Last summet I rode from the prairies, to the mountains of BC and the Yukon/Alaska, and then to the coast. The scoot didnt skip a beat. All I have is V&H true duals and Wild Pigs.

Thanks, I am going to Montana this year and didn't want to have a problem in the mountains. I understand the larger the jet the more of a problem at higher altitudes.
