SE Air cleaner
What is the proper way to clean and maintain the filter element? And how often Should it be cleaned?

The maintenance of this filter is as all the K&\\;N filters. You have the instructions and how must it be cleaned and oiled in their web page.
Depending of your ride style, you'll have to clean it more or less often. I wash and clean it every summer season (once a year)

Current Screamin Eagle air filters are Not manufactured by K&\\;N other than the cone filter on the 90 degree kit.

Trash the SE filter for a K&\\;N. It lasts forever, performs better and is easy to clean as per the instructions on the box.
