Default What to clean the SE A/C Filter with?
I am going to sell my SE A/C kit and needed to clean the filter. I was wondering what is suggested to clean it with? Any input or quotes from the instructions (which I lost btw) would be great.

LOL , Well the filter thats on with it is only got a 1k on it and Im going with another style A/C so it won't work.

The instruction sheet for 29440-99D says to use air cleaner degreaser. No reference to a Harley part number orany other particular product. I suspect K&N cleaner might work, but I haven't tried it on the dry filter. I use soapy water in a pan on mine.

Thanks for the input. i was figuring that the K&N cleaner or just some mild dish detergent.

Just wash it soap and water. Then hang dry it. Don't use compressed air to dry it.

K&N markets a " Filter Rejuvinator" kit. Cleaner ( like 409 ) and that red A/C oil.
