Cut-a-way Linkert carb photos
I just finished making a cut-a-way Linkert carb and thought some of you members might like to see photos. They aren't the best pictures but they still show an interesting piece of work.
Here is a photo storage web site where I have the pictures it if anyone cares to see them: Public Home folder | Para's Polishing | Fotki.com . If you can't click on that link here is the complete web site address to copy and paste into your browser: http://public.fotki.com/ParasPolishing/
The cut-a-way is done by myself and not a copy of any other cut-a-way Linkert that might be out there somewhere. All the cuts are of my own design. It is a unique piece that gets everyone's interest even those who aren't into bikes.
I also have a late model Pan oil pump, aluminum housing, that is just about complete. When I have it finished I'll post a message to let you know where to see photos.
I'm currently working on a complete Pan Head cut-a-way engine and hope to have it finished in the next few months. I'll also post a message when it's completed.
I'm always looking for unserviceable parts to use for cut-a-ways. I only want engine parts for Flat Heads, Knuckle Heads, Pan Heads, Shovel Heads and even those Sportys. If you have anything you might want to sell email me at paramilarms@aol.com w/what you have letting me know what parts, condition and price in your first email. Photos always help.
I'm always into trades if your so inclined yourself. The only thing I have to trade however are cut-a-way guns. All of these would be needed to be shipped to someone holding a valid current Federal Firearms License.......absolutely no exceptions except for anything classified as an antique, pre 1896. All federal, state and local laws apply here.
I do expert metal finishing also if you need anything plated or polish only. My prices are compatible w/Browns plating. The polishing and plating offer only applies when time permits. I do gun repair & refinishing and sub contract work for a local plating shop. Email me w/what you have and an honest description. Once again photos always help. I don't do wheels of any type however.........mags or steel rims. I've been metal finishing for over 30 years and I've had very few complains over those years.
Thanks for looking.
