Compression ? Need to figure static close guess would help
Hi I am building a 95 inch twin cam motor right now and here is where I am at. And if I should have compression releases put in these heads. I am also think to change cam choice to the new TW54 cam it seems to turn on sooner 2200 instead of 2600 like the tw55 I am going to using now. This is also going in my bagger FLHTCI (FLHX CLone) I was told this cam I am using now likes about 10 to 1.

RE: Compression ? Need to figure static close guess would help
Thanks for the tip that helps out. I really need to dial in on the for head gasket thickness. It look like I will need james .046 head gaskets or my compression with 10.25 pistons will get a bit to high. I always use good gas but I really did not want to get to much over 10 to 1 and this should get me at 10.07 to \\;1.

would \\;anybody know now @10.07 \\;to 1 should I install compression releases? \\;
