Default ADJUSTABLE PUSH RODS

I will be changing out the the stock cam chain drive&nbsp\\;to gear drive cam on my 06' streetglide.&nbsp\\; This will be my first shot at this.&nbsp\\; I am not familiar with the steps leading up to pulling the cam.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;What are the steps to set the cylinder in the correct position&nbsp\\;before cutting the stock push rod with bolt cutters?&nbsp\\; Then after&nbsp\\;the cams are in the case,&nbsp\\;what are the steps&nbsp\\;to adjust the push rods to proper length?&nbsp\\;Thanks in advance.

One cam will have to be pressed out of the cam plate, this is the time to swap the bearing out too.&nbsp\\; Swap out all cam bearings for that matter.&nbsp\\; With&nbsp\\;stock pushrods, clip them in what ever postion the motor is in, it doesn't matter.&nbsp\\; When installing the adjustable pushrods, it is VERY important to follow the directions that come with the pushrods, since they are specific to the thread pitch for those very pushrods.&nbsp\\; The directions along with your manual will tell you how to position the valve train to get the pushrod adjustment right.
