I have the chrome thunderheader, but I've seen the black one on just about any motor combination and I liked it, \\;if this is the bike \\;you putting it on it should be fine because you do have quite a bit of black, \\;but to each their own,

I have the chrome Thunderheader. Love the pipe, hate the finish. My Thunderheader is 2 1/2 months old and I getting the pipe rechromed. I would advise you to go with the black if at all possible.

Ya the chrome isn't the best, but it aint bad either! \\; So since the chrome finish isn't the best, I don't think the black would be a much better finish! \\;  \\;

I have the black thunder header on my 03 love the pipe but the finish sucks. \\; Had the header and heat sheilds done in jet black, which now the coating will klast longer. \\; What sucks is you pay a top dollar for this header and the coating sucks. \\; But I do love the pipe.

I started with a thunderheader, tried bassani road rage &\\; D&\\;D fat cat, then came back home to another thunderheader! \\; Expensive lesson, but I'm 100% sure of my choice now! \\;

Have been running a used chrome thunder header for 4 years. \\; I have all heat sheilds and it looks good. \\; What you sacrifice in quality is more than made up in soud quality and performance.
