I recently started wear ear plugs, really makes the highway more enjoyable.

Big Ears custom ear plugs. I never leave for a ride without them.

Try these or the EP4s:

I use them at the gun range (with muffs indoors). Excellent ear plugs.

Two questions not answered on there site, are they washable and how long do they last?

The ones I use are disposable, but normally last about 2/3 rides then they expand back to shape to quick before you can get them snug in your ear

I've never washed mine (used wipeys though) but they look like they can handle it. They should last a while. Mine are the EP3s. I bought two pair since they were only $10 each. I'm going to go ahead and pick-up a pair or two of EP4s also.

I wear them all the time. I get them from work. I use the foam ones, SNR 37. Wouldn't ride without them!!
