Question Stage 1 help needed...

Hello folks..
I have a few questions that im hoping I can get some help/tips on..last night I installed Vance &Hines straightshot slipons on my Girlfriends 06 1200 XL/L along with a SE Aircleaner..I rejetted her carb with a 45 and kept the 180 in (did this without removing the carb) my question is the old stock AC backing plate had two areas where two hoses connected to..one was a small rubber hose that came from the bottom of the carb that connected to a nipple on the stock backing plate..the other is a slightly larger plastic coated hose that runs back to rear tire area..I can`t see where it ends up..this hose just poked thru the old backing plate and was open inside the stock air box..The SE backing plate has no nipple or hole in it to connect either hose.my question is what the hell do I do with these two hoses? thanks in advance to all who take the time to help out...
