That thread is on the Touring forum. There is one in the Softail forum as well. They both focus on build and numbers but not the dyno chart itself. This is a better place for this thread. I don't go to the touring forum and I'm sure most people on this site will stick to their own models. How do we request a "sticky" for this thread?

Wasn't there a dyno section in the tech forums?

maybe someone could start one, so we could post charts and build comments....

Just one of my everyday drivers....... any questions see web site. I just did a 490 hp drag bike but we are trying for 500 plus I know its not a harley but you have to respect power ........ ENJOY I post more later.

Guys, I just don't get it. You invite new members to join but there are a few of you that have been on the forum for a long time but try to be "Thread Police" and get offended by new comers with new ideas. I don't see a problem with starting this thread. Evidently it needed to be started since it seems that the previous threads are so hard to find. Maybe there needs to be a rule that a thread can't be started until it's approved by these people that are getting their toes stepped on. I also don't see a problem with posting Metric bike dyno graphs. I thought we were out to help everyone.

Thanks to all of the other members for their support!

As far as "Dalton"...I guess we need to make sure that there are no graphs that have defects.
"If you are an engine builder and performance shop, why would you post a chart showing a defect (slipping clutch)? If it was my daily rider, I surely would fix that. Have you heard of the Rivera Primo Pro Clutch, King Kong Clutch, or others? Not a bad pull using the Pro Clutch and eliminates the slipping."

I'm completely satisfied with my clutch. Evidently the Zippers VPC doesn't engage completely at that point. If you look at the graph, it slips for about 100 rpm at 180 tq and 160 hp. I can live with that. It also doesn't hurt my daily driven either. The bike makes 110 hp / 122 tq w/o nitrous. I only need to use it when someone thinks that the have the badest bike around. Here is something to remember, "There will always be someone faster".

I don't think that the purpose of this thread is to dicect and make fun of the people that post their graphs.

The world is full of smart asses and dumb asses. If you don't have anything positive to say, maybe you should keep it to yourself.

I like this thread-- it gives me something to dream of--- it must be easy doing power wheelies with 180 tq and 160hp -- probably easy to get sideways too.

I lust for HD power -- my need for tq and hp does not match the dollars in my wallet

Take it easy with Dalton man. He's an extremely respected member on this web site.
No problem about coming in with new ideas. But relax with the muscle flexing and you'll
be taken more seriously......

HP: HDF is a big place and the various forums obviously attempt to provide some focus to allow those with specific interests to see relevant material for their interests.

"Thread police"??? Hardly, just suggesting to a newcomer that there are places for posting dyno sheets and relevant information to their builds.

Browse around the HDF and you'll find plenty of places that may interest you and help you decide where your threads will be most helpful or get the assistance you need.

Folks can post what they want where they want.

As for your shot at Dalton, you ought to back it down at least a few notches or you will earn the rep as being a jack a$$ which may or may not be a good marketing strategy for your business.
