'97 Road King 96" Cam Recommendation

Default '97 Road King 96" Cam Recommendation
I have a buddy with a 97 Road king. He is running Reinhart True Duals, SE breather, and SERT. He wants to change JUST cams and wants to go to gear driven cams.

He is trying to pick-up cruising power to be able to run with the bigger bikes in the club. Someone has convinced him the Andrews 21hg cams are the way to go. I'm thinking the 37hg... Looking for advice from those that have "dun it"....

A 1997 Evo RK, 96", (S&S Sidewinder kit?) in touring trim, would work great with an Andrews EV-27, EV-3, or lastly, a Wood 6.

opppss. Sorry about that! I meant a 2007 vice 1997 Road King! Can't believe I did that!!!!

In that case, then a Wood 6, with a 4* advance sprocket(gear).
He'll like that.
