Header Wrap
I have run header wrap on both my motorcycles for years, and both motorcycles have 2-into-1 pipes on them. I had to take the header wrap off one and found that my header pipe had been completely cracked in two on the front pipe. I thought it was because the the pipe was in a bind. However, recently I had to take the wrap off the other bike and found the same thing, front pipe and all only it wasn't cracked completely in two...? Has anyone else had this problem with header wrap? The first bike had a Samson 2-into-1 that has been discontinued and was on a sporty and the other is a Thunderheader on a Fatboy....

I wrapped on of my thunderheaders & ya it cracked 3/4 through on front head pipe, but mine was down just before the collector. I believe it was the wrap cause I never had one crack like that ever since. I didn't even know it was cracked till I took the pipe off for somethin or other!
