Exhaust Coating Question
Anyone know of a coating that can go on an exhaust they will be gloss black when it dries? I always see satin or flat but never gloss. I'm going to start researching but thought maybe someone had seen or heard of something.

+1 on that. Powder coat will hold up great on any exhaust part that doesn't "blue" from the heat. So, you can do your heat shields and the mufflers as well, as long as they [mufflers] don't have any hot spots.

Jet Hot now has a new semi gloss finish, not sure if it will work on the header. It doesn't have that gloss look but it does have a nice shine to it. Kind of like you wiped the pipe down with WD40.
I'm going to look into that.

You may want to check out HPC coating. I'm not sure if they offer a gloss black, but I can vouch for their process. Had an E Pipe break behind the rear cyclinder after about two years. Bought a new one, had it coated by HPC in and out. 8 years later, still like new...
