'08 Police 103" How much valve lift with stock springs?
I'm pretty sure I've purchased my bike from the BEST dealership (atleast from my experience) I possibly could have, Ozark HD in Lebanon, MO. absolutely the nicest people I've ever met at a HD dealership. I'm not worried about warranty issues. Can cams with .575" lift such as the 575-hs redshift be installed "drop-in" with stock (non CVO, non SE) valve springs? Have you or someone you know successfully done this swap?
Gunny - I was actually referring to the warranty on the engine kit sold by the various shops, not HD. Most that I have seen come with a 1 yr warranty on a package if you get the entire thing from them.
Had the 54g's put in mine last year. My indy suggested to change the springs, which he did.
I'm more comfortable knowing the springs won't be a problem.
FYI, a great cam. Comes on @ 26-2800 and pulls fast and hard all the way to redline.

Ordered Redshift 575's, also got Ness big sucker II, pretty sure going to order PC-V from Fuel Moto and build my own 2 into 1, 1 3/4"-1 7/8"-2" stepped header into 2 1/2" collector followed by Supertrapp muffler all ceramic coated black. I enjoy fabricating exhaust systems myself. Leaving the rest of the engine stock until after Biketoberfest Then I'll pull the heads and set the squishto .038"-.040" and clean up the chambers and short side radius of ports.
