Default inner cam bearings

ok got the top half all together. Got the cams in the cam plate no problem either. I used the oven/freezer method and it worked very well. I wanted to know if there was a way to change the inner bearings without buying a bunch of tools I will probably only use once. I got the cam tensioner tool and oil pump alignment tool but the inner bearing stuff is damn expensive.
thanks

Not that I would do it, but my indy buddy yanks 'em out with a blind puller and taps the new one in with a small mallet.

I did it that way, and it worked out fine.

ya tap 'em back in with the back side of an appropriate-sized socket on the end of an extension... with some light taps from said mallet or hammer.

Removed mine with an Auto Zone puller - its free. Used old cams and rubber mallet to gently tap the new ones in. Clean, lube and freeze the new bearings the night before - they go in real eeeeasy.
